It’s time to get back to the meaning of community as we go to
“In-person” & “Zoom” hybrid meetings.
The next meeting of your Community Council will be a hybrid meeting on
Friday, December 8, 2023, 6:30 p.m.
Join us In-Person at Rabbit Creek Church,
Huffman Campus located at
12100 Old Seward Hwy

by Zoom if you can’t make it to the meeting

Our December 8, meeting will include a final vote on the Boundary Resolution 2023-01. At the July 14, 2023, meeting, the vote was 16/0 for adding the area North of Klatt Road & South of Minnesota, East of C Street and West of the New Seward Highway.

Also, at the December 8, meeting, we will vote for 2024 Officers: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and two FCC Delegates.
Other items on the agenda include the Eldon Subdivision Water & Sewer improvements, the Clean Slate Strategy and Housing & Homelessness as it relates to our community, and the Alaska Railroad Trail on the easement.
We would especially like to meet you at our in-person meetings. For your convenience, join us on Zoom. Together we will learn about what’s going on in our community and city. The Council's purpose is to provide a direct and continuing means of citizen participation in local affairs. You will be able to communicate with: our neighbors, community patrol, assembly member, Anchorage Fire Department, Anchorage School Board, and our District 10-E legislators. This is your opportunity to learn and ask questions.
If you are new or have lived here for decades in this community, this is where you can get involved! No commitment required and it’s free to attend!
Membership:
We welcome member input! Any resident, property owner, or business located within the boundaries of the Council is a member of OSOVCC (see the map).
Members are eligible to vote at the November meeting. See the Bylaws on the menu, linked at the right, for detailed information.
