The Northeast Community Council meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month, 7 PM, at the Northeast Community Center (Boys & Girls Club).

Board meetings take place on the 1st Thursday of each month (same time and place).

 Summer, 2012 - supporters of the Muldoon Park Strip

"Muldoon Park Strip" is the proposed land that the Northeast Community Council wants to become a Park.  We oppose the realignment of the creek without proper community input in how the creek is moved.  We oppose the realignment of the creek unless there will be no development of punching Debarr Road through and unless they make the frontage property a Park instead of being Commercial property.

The Municipality of Anchorage kicked off this project in March, 2012.  Advisory group meetings are happening now.  They are open to the public.

East Anchorage is where we live, work, and play.  The East Anchorage District Plan should reflect our values and our vision for the future.

There are several ongoing projects and events occurring in our neighborhood that need your input.  You can make a difference.
